How to Cleanse Our Hearts?

The heart is the most important organ in the human body both physically and spiritually. Following a Murshid cleanses the heart making it ready for Allāh ﷻ. So how can we cleanse our hearts? Our ‎Prophet’s ﷺ way fixes hearts; taking away all the illness and darkness.

The Significance of Contentment

Contentment is an undiminishing treasure. Mawlānā tells, in a story, about this attribute of human beings which is the total opposite of contentment. Don’t look for what’s missing. To accept and be happy with what you have is the teaching of ṭarīqah, the teaching of our ‎Prophet ﷺ.

Ḥalāl Las Vegas and Ḥarām Las Vegas

Today we are in Las Vegas in Mendoza, Argentina. There is the Ḥalāl Las Vegas, and there is the Ḥarām Las Vegas. This is Paradise; that is Hell. Gambling is the worst habit for people. Take wisdom even from the bad.

The religion is one and the last one who fulfilled the religion is our ‎Holy Prophet ﷺ. Allāh’s ﷻ word is the truth and He ﷻ mentioned everything and gave all proofs in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n; including the creation and ascension of Sayyidina ‘Isa. These so-called religious people are not innocent; they are with shayṭān.

Open Your Eyes to Attain Happiness

Success is to win the ākhirah. Awliyā’ are encouraging people to get reward from Allāh ﷻ. Mawlānā also emphasizes on the importance of Jum’ah prayer and du’ā’ for the believer. Happiness is right in front of your eyes but shayṭān is making you blind.

When Not to Make Easy?

Islām is ease not difficulty. Allāh ﷻ says after difficulty comes ease; such as fasting and performing hajj. There is an order to make it easy not difficult upon people. But when does that apply? Each has a limit that one mustn’t cross. Ease for goodness but make it difficult for badness.

Secret Difference of Material and Spiritual Love

After 9 years, Mawlānā arrives again to Argentine on a tour not for tourism but purely for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. Mawlānā tells the secret on why spiritual love lasts forever yet material love doesn’t.

The Muslim is merciful but the disbeliever is the opposite. Those who are oppressive and not merciful will surely suffer their punishment. The oppressor suffers here and hereafter.

Don’t Kill Your Conscience

Allāh ﷻ created mankind and put inside them the ego and conscience. Conscience is what makes us human. But one must overcome his ego first. Don’t kill your conscience.

The First Lesson in Ṭarīqah

Mawlānā Sheikh ‘Abdu Llāh used to tell Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim to write down his Sohbahs. What was the first lesson? They ask, What is ṭarīqah like? Ṭarīqah disciplines. Ṭarīqah is to have adab. Otherwise, you are like an ordinary person from the street.

Allāh ﷻ Raises the Humble

Our ‎Prophet ﷺ says, Allāh ﷻ raises the humble and degrades the arrogant. There’s no need for the arrogant to enter ṭarīqah. Humility is very important for ṭarīqah people.

Never Respond to the Ignorant

Never forget this: if you respond to the ignorant, shayṭāns will multiply there. This is not the way or principle of our ‎Prophet ﷺ. This is what he ﷺ showed us in the famous incident with Sayyidina Abu Bakr.

Beware of Going to Extremes

Allāh ﷻ says be a nation in a middle state. Beware of going to extremes; those in the middle way are saved. Who are those in the middle way? Who has no murshid, his murshid is shayṭān.

People Are Deceived by Youth and Health

Our ‎Prophet ﷺ says, people are deceived by two: youth and health. Beware of spending them in vain. Follow what Allāh ﷻ and our ‎Prophet ﷺ said to not fall into regret.

Allāh ﷻ Is with Who Fear Him ﷻ

If you want Allāh ﷻ to be with you, be on His ﷻ way and fear Him ﷻ. Be careful not to be cheated with those who deviate you from the way.

Keep Prayer Brief in Congregation

Our ‎Prophet ﷺ says, when praying in congregation or delivering Khutbah, keep it brief and don’t prolong it. Our ‎Prophet ﷺ knows our states best. It is better in order not to distress the congregation.

Not Once Do Concede to Your Ego

The commands Allāh ﷻ has given us are easy to do. He ﷻ doesn’t burden us with what we can’t do. Don’t make any concessions to your ego; not even the slightest one.
