Things Are Not as They Appear
Allāh ﷻ says, you may hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you may love a thing and it is bad for you. So things are not as they appear. What’s best is to place one’s trust in Allāh ﷻ and seek His ﷻ goodness.
