Ḥajj Is the Most Beautiful Journey

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, He ﷻ has gifted us to go to ḥajj. It is destined to whoever has heard the adhan of Sayyidina Ibrahim. It is the most beautiful journey and has countless thawāb but people must be careful of their egos.

Work in Dunyā for Ākhirah

A strong Muslim is better than a weak one. Work in dunyā for ākhirah not for dunyā. If for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ, wealth is strength and goodness. Muslims must have this understanding. They must distinguish this.

The Conquest of Istanbul

The miracles of our ‎Prophet ﷺ are many and they remain until qiyāmah. One of them is the Conquest of Constantinople. There is a lot of wisdom behind it.

The Only Truth is What Allāh ﷻ Says

Guidelines for Ḥajjis

We are entering the blessed ten days of Dhul Hijjah. Fasting and charity in these days is more virtuous. Ḥajj is a difficult worship. Ḥajjis must disconnect from dunyā focusing on this worship.

Our Only Guarantee

We live in a world of possibilities, as Rumī says. There is no guarantee for anything based on our actions or experience. Anything can be accepted or rejected by Allāh ﷻ. Our only guarantee for everything to be accepted is loving and mentioning him ﷺ.

Raise Your Children on Allāh’s ﷻ Way

Your children are a test and trust upon you. Strive to raise them on the way of Allāh ﷻ. While doing so, keep on the middle state. They are one of three deeds that you keep getting rewarded for after you die.

Follow Him ﷺ to Not Stray

Allāh ﷻ guides whomever He ﷻ wants and doesn’t guide whomever He ﷻ wants. Many people are scared not to stray from the right way. To not go astray, follow him ﷺ and do a lesson, even if a little, every day without interruption.

Don’t Interfere with the Government

Mawlana Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh ad-Dāghestānī would always repeat this Ayah. Obey Ulī l-‘Amr and don’t oppose them. Don’t interfere in their business. The Muslim should not cause harm for the sake of dunyā.

Two Types of Nightlife

Allāh ﷻ has given people whatever they need. He ﷻ has made sleep for rest. There are two types of nightlife: one that’s with worship for Allāh’s ﷻ pleasure and one that’s the opposite.

Stay Away from Politics

Ṭarīqah is to make our ākhirah prosperous and to remove dunyā from our hearts. Politics is an affair of dunyā. Don’t interfere in it. It has its people. Ṭarīqah murīds must stay away from politics.

“I Wish I Hadn’t Taken This as a Friend!” (25:28)

When you become bāligh and of sane mind, you are responsible. This state of people now is described in Qur’ān: they follow others mindlessly then lament and regret. You have mind, you will be punished.

Be from the Rijāl

Allāh ﷻ orders us to not be distracted with anything other than His ﷻ orders in dunyā. Mawlānā explains thoroughly whom the Rijāl are and how to be from them becoming awliyā’.

The Herd’s Destination Is Hell

Those who follow bad people in dunyā will eventually meet in hell. They will say, “They led us astray. Let them have double the punishment.” You must follow Allāh’s ﷻ way in dunyā and not the herd.

Chains of Dunyā and Ākhirah

There are iron chains in dunyā and ākhirah that are wrapped around one’s neck. They are the habits and sins. One must get rid of them by asking forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ.

The Adab of Ḥajj

Ḥajj is a divine opportunity granted by Allāh ﷻ. Everyone should make the intention to perform it, striving to fulfil its adab, farḍ, wājib, sunnah, and mustaḥabb acts to the best of their ability. Even a single prayer in Masjidu l-Ḥarām equals one hundred thousand elsewhere. Do not miss this chance. Focus on tasbīḥāt, reciting the Qur’ān, helping others, and seeking knowledge. Every moment spent there is showered with mercy and blessings.

Raising Righteous Children

Allāh ﷻ says in the Holy Qur’ān that your children are a test for you. Pray to Allāh ﷻ to keep them steadfast on His ﷻ path. A righteous child is the most precious of treasures. Raise them with ḥalāl earnings and love for the Prophet ﷺ and Allāh ﷻ, so they bring blessings in this world and the hereafter, becoming a source of goodness.

The Garment of Piety

Allāh ﷻ says in the Holy Qur’ān that the best garment is taqwá. Today, people are obsessed with wearing expensive clothes with brand names, but these hold no value in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. True value lies in the heart. Taqwá means to fear Allāh ﷻ, feel shame before Him ﷻ, and be mindful of Him ﷻ. This is the best garment. It protects and beautifies in the sight of Allāh ﷻ.

What Allāh ﷻ Wants Will Happen

Allāh ﷻ created everything perfectly, as the Best of Creators. Before humans, countless creatures existed and vanished. This world will end, as Allāh ﷻ teaches in the Holy Qur’ān that life here is not forever. This world is not paradise; it is full of trials, war, and corruption. True believers are not anxious, for everything happens by Allāh’s ﷻ will. Be content with what Allāh ﷻ gives, and you will find peace in this life and the next.

Real Beauty Comes with Adab

Allāh ﷻ created humans in the best form. Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim used to say: “O Allāh ﷻ, beautify my character just as You ﷻ have beautified my form.” In that perfect appearance, Allāh ﷻ wants you to perfect your inner self to become Insānu l-Kāmil. This is the path of light shown by our Prophet ﷺ: to perfect your manners, your adab. That is what raises your rank in the Divine Presence and among people, and protects you from harm.

Resemble the Example of Awliyā’u Llāh

Awliyā’u Llāh have no fear or sadness. Their hearts are truly satisfied and pleased. Resemble them and follow their way to become a good human.

Strong Through Belief

Allāh ﷻ says that human beings were created weak. Among all creation, mankind is the weakest, but Allāh ﷻ gave them belief to become strong. He ﷻ gave them a mind to know and accept their Creator ﷻ. Only with Allāh ﷻ can they find strength and control the ego. Now oppression has reached its peak, and everything is ready for the Saviour to come.

Mawlana Is Always With Us

Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim passed to another world eleven years ago, but he is always with us. His spiritual support is with each one until Qiyāmah. Submit to your murshid with love, thanking Allāh ﷻ for Mawlānā’s merciful choice, as it is a great favour. By following your murshid, your life will be filled with reward, barakah, and beauty.

The Best Among Mankind

People ask themselves who’s the best among them. It is not who’s most loved or known. It is who’s best in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. Love for the sake of Allāh ﷻ is different, and love for benefit is different.

Ḥijāmah is both Sunnah and cure. What is Ḥijāmah and when is the most beneficial time to have it?

Salty Water Can’t Quench Your Thirst

Allāh ﷻ has given mankind responsibilities that are beneficial for him. He ﷻ has invited him to take from treasures, but the fools don’t want anything but dung and sewage. One is happy when his spirituality is happy. Salty water cannot quench one’s thirst. It is sweet things that will.

Mankind Is Honored Everyday

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla honored mankind. He ﷻ values his efforts every day and not only once a year. Whatever way they follow out of His ﷻ way is deception.
