In this ṣuḥbah, Mawlānā emphasizes the importance of not valuing dunyā and all it encompasses. Mawlānā tells the story of one Awliyā’u Llāh, Bishr al-Hāfi who repented and left everything going from the most rich to barefoot. Don’t be happy with dunyā; nothing of the wealth of dunyā will go with you. Also, stay away from bad friends.
